Established 5 years ago, the farm is located in Roseburg. Our 107 acres property is dedicated to Biodynamic farming and preservation of the natural ecosystem. We have about 300 fruit and nut trees, a 1 acre garden, Jersey and highland cattle, goats and Tamworth pigs. We also use a Belgian draft horse. We are committed to seed saving and are growing mostly heirlooms varieties. We are looking for people interested in an apprenticeship program. The North American Biodynamic Apprenticeship Program provides an opportunity for apprentices to pursue their particular agricultural interests within the context of a comprehensive training curriculum and with greater access to networking, support, and educational resources than they would have on their own. A certificate earned through the program assures future employers that program graduates have completed all of the essential elements of apprenticeship training. The Apprenticeship Program is a program of the Biodynamic Farming and Gardening Association.
